In 2001, Farmer Brooke Hazen planted 70 acres of olives on his property in the rolling hills of Sonoma County in Northern California. Today our olives are grown in sandy loam soils with special care and kept cool by coastal breezes. This special combination creates complex and delicious flavors in our oils. We mill our olives onsite within hours of harvest, locking in the antioxidants and freshness. Please enjoy the bounty of our farm!
*3 GOLD Awards in 2020* The Tuscan Blend is grown and milled on our farm in Sonoma County. It is made with CCOF Certified Organic olives and shows bright green aromas and flavors of wheatgrass, green apples and pine nut. Medium bodied with a light spicy finish. This is a perfectly versatile oil that can easily saute, finish a dish or bring special flavors to your vinaigrette. A favorite kitchen staple for many esteemed chefs in San Francisco and the Bay Area. An Italian blend of mostly Frantoio and Leccino with a small amount of Maurino and Pendolino olives.
Our Gold Ridge soils plus local ocean breezes provide the perfect setting to grow perfect, healthy and delicious olives. Our olives are hand picked and then pressed into oil within hours of harvest in our onsite mill, locking in the health benefits. Fresh olive oil is a natural raw food that is high in polyphenols and antioxidants.
